What this policy covers

This policy explains what Laguna Niguel Insulation & Spray Foam learns about you when you use our website, call us or ask for an estimate, and what we do with it. We're an insulation contractor in Laguna Niguel, CA, and we only collect what we need to answer your question, come out to your house and do the job.

It applies to every page on this site, starting with the home page, and to the information you give us by phone or through our contact form. If something here isn't clear, you can learn more about us or reach us through our contact page.

Information you give us

When you fill out our contact form or call us, you usually share your name, phone number, email address, the address of the house and a short note about the job, such as a hot upstairs room or an attic you want checked. We ask for the address because we can't schedule an on-site estimate without it.

Our contact form is run by an outside form service, so what you type passes through that provider before it reaches us. Please don't send payment card numbers or other sensitive details through the form, because we never need them to set up an estimate.

If we come out to your house, we may also keep notes and photos of the attic, crawl space or walls so we can write the estimate and plan the work.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours collects some basic details when you visit, such as your browser type, device, the pages you looked at, how you found the site and a general location based on your internet connection. This doesn't tell us who you are unless you also contact us.

We may use analytics tools and cookies to gather these details. A cookie is a small file your browser stores so a site can remember a visit or count how many people use a page. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work, though some features may not remember your choices.

How we use your information

We use what you send us to reply to you, schedule and carry out estimates and jobs, send invoices and follow up on the work we did. We use site analytics to see which pages help people and which ones need fixing.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing. We only pass it along when it's needed to run the business, such as to the form, email or analytics services we use, to someone you've asked us to work with, or when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep estimate requests and job records for as long as we need them to finish the work, stand behind it, keep accurate business and tax records and answer questions about a job later. If you asked for an estimate and we never did the work, we keep that request only as long as it's useful to follow up, then delete it.

Analytics data is kept by the tools that collect it under their own settings, and we use it in summary form rather than looking up individual visitors.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also ask us to stop contacting you at any time, and we'll take you off our list.

Depending on where you live, including California, the law may give you more rights over your information, and we'll honor the ones that apply to you. We may need to confirm who you are before we act on a request, so we don't hand someone else's details to the wrong person.

Some records we may have to keep even after you ask us to delete them, such as invoices we need for tax purposes. If that's the case, we'll tell you what we're keeping and why.

Keeping your information safe

We limit who on our team can see customer information and use reputable services to store it. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise that nothing will ever go wrong, but we'll let you know if a problem affects your information.

This site isn't meant for children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Questions or concerns about your privacy

If you have a question about this policy, want to make a request, or think we've handled your information the wrong way, call us at (949) 312-6098 or send us a message through our contact page. Tell us what you'd like us to do, and we'll respond within 1 business day.

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version on this page with a new date at the top.
